Issue:
Lync 2013 client address book synchronizing and never comes up.
Solution:
add registry key:
Start CMD as admin, enter:
reg add HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync /v GalDownloadInitialDelay /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f >null
Remove Lync profile:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0
Remove Lync profile:
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0
